STORAGE OF THE CORNEA AT 4°C

Eusol-C and Corneal Chamber (containing Eusol-C) is a fully synthetic medium for preserving the cornea at 4°C for up to 14 days.

The solution contains a single antibiotic at the effective concentration for greater stability of the medium. Before use, the product can be stored at room temperature and, in addition, it supports temperature variations during transport. The phenol red indicator allows rapid detection of pH variation. The vial with a high optical quality bottom facilitates the evaluation of the cornea with specular microscopes.

To comply with the specific regulatory requirements for FDA and CE there are two versions of the product: Eusol-C (ref. CSM 001-00) approved by the FDA and product for Europe and international users (ref. CTC 001-01) CE marked. The solution itself is equivalent.

KERASAVE is a new completely synthetic medium for preserving the cornea at 4°C for a maximum of 14 days developed in our laboratories, it is the result of Alchimia's research. The solution contains two antibiotics and 12 Amphotericin B tablets for effective antifungal protection. The phenol red indicator allows quick visualization of pH variations. The package contains DEC, ocular prostheses for cosmetic reconstructions of the donor eye. Store in fridge. Stability studies have shown that KERASAVE is stable for up to 30 days at room temperature and up to 5 days at 40°C.
